Boys picked for National Team
|
| |
At National trials held in Chiang-Mai recently Khon Kaen Schools Cricket League took six boys to take part in the trials. They joined much larger teams from Bangkok and Chaing-mai to make for a total of over fifty boys looking for selection.
|
| |
The trials were held over to days with training and observation by selectors on the first day. This was followed by a match between a mixed provinces team comprised of the boys from Khon Kaen and Chiang-Mai vs a team from Bangkok.

| |
As a result of the trials four of the Khon Kaen boys were selected for the National Under 13 team, two of these have also been chosen to represent Thailand at Under 15 level at a match to be played against Malaysia in Late November. The Khon Kaen wicket keeper and top scorer was named as man of the tournament. These results surpasses any expectations and has encouraged all members of the KKSCL to greater efforts to compare with the efforts of the boys.
